| Just remember to bring your own beverages...and a few extras for the Skipper. He'll have a twelver of Rolling Rock down before you can say "Oh, the North Shore boys they fall in line..." Drifter Message: 83921 IP: 208.210.150.25 Thread: 53532021 | ||

| Sure, Drifter and Ivan will attend the meeting. After all, their Mother has left, after visiting for 13 days! They have a touch of evil in them. Message: 555521 IP: 209.240.224.226 Thread: 53532021 | ||

| I have learned that Ivan will be sporting his THHS letterman's jacket and boot cut corduroy slacks during the festivities. Skipper will be donning his class ring and Blue Pumas with the yellow stripe. Ivan will entertain us with a wide selection of 8-Track tapes. Does Cudda deliver down to the northern suburbs?? | Henry, you had your 13 days to belly up to your reserved barstool at the Moose. Now it's our turn. As for my attire for the party, I was thinking of sporting my beige polyester leisure suit with a blue zipper tie. And some tasty ribs from Lakeshore Chicken and Ribs may be in order for a late night snack. Skipper, please leave the methane inducing deer sausage at home this time. | I have secured Mitchell's Puca beads for the weekend, I know others covet this piece of jewelry, but cannot pull it off without a rust and brown colored "Wilbur" shirt, as for deer sausage, methane gas is just a mere byproduct , Henry would know this,we will set aside a small percentage of beverages for those who might want to show up. | Ivan | Re: The Weekend | 02-15-2000 |
| Knowing the Skip and Drifter very well, the percentage of beverages set aside will be very small, if any. Maybe a Miller shorty or two will survive the onslaught. And believe me, the methane gas these guys put out is not just a mere byproduct. Message: 554522 IP: 63.225.130.119 Thread: 53532021 | ||

| Hey, if you guys are anywhere near Hennepin Avenue, would you check to see if the 'Blue Heron' is still there? My friends and I used to go there on Firday nights and eat Eastern cuisine and watch the belly dancer. I always lost my appetite when she came out...I don't know why, too much face paint, I guess! Have a good time, you musketeers (or is it Stooges!)! Message: 281515 IP: 207.75.48.121 Thread: 53532021 | ||
| Drifter | Re: The Weekend | 02-17-2000 |
| We will not be near Hennepin Avenue, but are open to anyone who would like to stop by and entertain us by belly dancing. Anything would be better than listening to Skipper tell stories of his illustrious football career at THHS. Speaking of Skipper, he has been suspended from all cooking duties. Last time we met up, he torched the brats and hot dogs so bad that we were unable to properly identify the charred remains. Drifter Message: 44916 IP: 204.221.45.79 Thread: 53532021 | ||

| Alas, the Blue Heron has flown the coop! Closed because of quana on the eating tables. The belly dancer can be found at Joe Roscoe's table at the Twins Bar. Message: 124516 IP: 209.240.224.226 Thread: 53532021 | ||

| Yes, I overcooked a meal, I will not deny this, but, when the Drifter is playing a song on the guitar all time stands still and things just get forgotten,(why can't Ivan watch the grill?)Skipper Message: 574222 IP: 152.163.204.12 Thread: 53532021 | ||

| The paramedic squad was called to the home of Ivan on Saturday. Skipper drank all the lighter fluid, and they could not start the grill. A blowtorch was used to get things going. We did have to take a brat back to the morque. Message: 393913 IP: 209.240.224.226 Thread: 53532021 | ||
| Drifter | Re: The Weekend | 02-21-2000 |
| Ivan's party was a great success. Nobody was arrested and no, the paramedic squad DID NOT need to be called. However, I do believe the part about Skipper and the lighter fluid may have been true, although I'm sure he will deny it. Drifter Message: 462415 IP: 204.221.45.79 Thread: 53532021 | ||

| Glad you guys had fun. Where's the new topics? Kitty and Heart might be feeling left out. I remember seeing Pablo Cruise in concert with the Doobie Brothers at the Duluth Arena in 1977. PC was an overrated flash in the pan band with only one song that I can remember. But the Doobie Brothers were awesome. Message: 4522 IP: 152.163.197.183 Thread: 53532021 | ||

| I, too, am glad you guys had a good time (I meant to tell you that earlier) and I was getting alittle jealous until I read about the bad food! Ha! I barely remember Pablo Cruise, but I've always LOVED the Doobie Brothers. Poor Ivan, he was probably re-living an old, fond memory by playing his music over and over!!!! | Who are these Doobie Brothers you talk of? Dave and Dan Hubbartt? Boyd and Brad Kasatz? Brian and Rod Krivac? Never heard of the so called Doobie Brothers. The Cruise..now that's a real band! My Pablo Cruise 8 track tape is worn out...anyone know where I can get a new one? Message: 455721 IP: 207.225.145.132 Thread: 53532021 | ||
