| Webman | Super Bowl??? | 01-24-2001 |
| I guess it is my turn to start a new thread. I've been thinking about this Super Bowl thing, and you know, it might actually be a good game. I have seen both Baltimore and NY play really well this season. They just aren't two teams that I follow much, so I am not too well informed about either of them. I will watch the game with a beverage (Mountain Dew) and some cheese dip and nachos. I will be happy. | ||
| TWO-Z | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-24-2001 |
| I HOPE IT'S A GOOD GAME AS WELL.. I HATE TO WATCH A BLOW OUT... TOO BORING...I AM ROOTING FOR BALTIMORE AS IT IS THERE FIRST TIME.. GIANTS HAVE HAD THERE TIME.. I'M ALSO STILL PISSED AT THEM FOR THE OTHER WEEKEND. I WILL BE AT A FREINDS SUPERBOWL PARTY DRINKING LOTS OF BARLEY AND EATING WAY TOO MANY MEATBALLS AND MUNCHIES... BUSY DAY MONDAY SO I'M SURE I WILL BE HURTING... WHAT'S EVERYBODY ELSE GOT TO SAY.... TWO-Z | ||
| Mith Malone | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-24-2001 |
| All this football talk bores me, although some of those big men that play the game are sure handsome. I think the Cleveland Browns will score more home runs than the New Jersey Giants. Mith Malone | ||
| Ivan | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-24-2001 |
| Trent Dilfer quarterbacking a team in the Super Bowl? NFL football is a joke nowdays. I'll have to skip this one. My garage needs cleaning. | ||
| Kitty | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-24-2001 |
| Holy Makeral (or salmon, lake trout, white fish, ect...) Man, I've missed a lot, eh? Hey Skip, I'll join you anytime for steak and beer...whose buyin'? (somehow, I think I know the answer to that question) Maybe we should skip the food and all get together for beer and kareoke, since everyone loves to sing! Anyway, I'm working lots and have gone back to college, so I'll read & post when I need a dose of good humor! | ||
| Clem Haskins | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-24-2001 |
| I don't like football. I am innocent of all charges. I love Mexican food-chicken chop suey the best. You can contact me at: CHask@singsing.com | ||
| Charles Halsted | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-24-2001 |
| From my observations, Ivan and Gulag know very little about football and even less about pro football. They think the single wing comes from a chicken. Couldn't even remember the plays (and we only had 3). | ||
| Skipper | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-24-2001 |
| Z, just cool that Hauenstein down, I have to agree with Ivan, not much interest in this game, Ivan likes to clean the rafters of his garage, wierd huh?....Kitty, congrats on going back to school, B-loop and I will treat you to a nice meal at the Zona Rosa! | ||
| Drifter | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-24-2001 |
| Ivan is 100% correct...... his garage does need cleaning. I've seen it firsthand. Empty Busch beer cans filling up his blue recycle bin, an old black and white TV sitting on a shelf, warped 8-track tapes scattered about, a '72 John Deere snowblower with a flat tire, numerous screwdrivers, hammers, ladders, etc that he "borrowed" from his old man. It is not pretty. It just might be more enteratining to watch him clean his garage than to watch this year's Super Bowl. Drifter | ||
| Torggy | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-24-2001 |
| What a bunch of sore losers. The Vikes lost. Yea right, like it never happened before. Get over it. I plan to watch the game and I hope its a good one for once. You guys can stay and cry in your beer but I'm with Webman and Two-Z, lets watch the game! | ||
| Skipper | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-24-2001 |
| Cripes, Torg...take us to the woodshed, heh?...hoser! | ||
| Drifter | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-24-2001 |
| Okay, Torggy, I'll watch the game.... Not the commercials or the halftime show, though... Skipper will buy the first round of Rolling Rocks. | ||
| Torggy | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-24-2001 |
| Hey the commericals are the fun part 2.5 million per 30 seconds. I was just talking with andretti in the chat room. I would love to share a Rolling Rock with ya. | ||
| Ivan | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-25-2001 |
| Torg, I think it's time for your medication and maybe wash it down with a little grog. If you want to waste 4 hours watching that shit on the tube go ahead. I'll take my beer out to the garage, plug in Nugent Double Live Gonzo on the 8 track and clean like a son of a bitch. | ||
| Skipper | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-25-2001 |
| Excellent entry Ivan,ya ya ya ya ya!!!!! | ||
| TWO-Z | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-25-2001 |
| CHICKEN SKIP???? AFRAID OF LOSING A SIXER????????? ANYBODY WHO'S ANY BODY WATCHES THE SUPER BOWL NO MATTER WHO'S IN IT.... YOU GUYS ARE KILLING ME HERE. TWO-Z | ||
| Torggy | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-25-2001 |
| Hey Ivan I know the therapeutic value of cleaing the garage. But I think it could be fun to watch the Ravens defense. They say its the best ever. Now if the game turns into a blow-out I'll bring my In-a-godad-of-eda 8 track and my "medication" so I can watch you clean. | ||
| happy | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-25-2001 |
| And they say WOMEN bicker....you boys have 'em all beat. Personally, I think I'll find my taped game of last year's tough guys and watch it...skip, you behavin? | ||
| Ivan | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-25-2001 |
| Well I guess I'm a nobody then, Two-Z. I'd rather watch synchronized swimming that watch Trent Dilfer lob a lame duck to Qadry Ismail. INA GODDA DIVIDA baby. | ||
| Torggy | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-25-2001 |
| Is that how you spell it? Hell I was just alive in the 60's. Doesn't mean I remember any of it. Howdy Happy, Andretti, says hi she looked for you in the chat room last nite. | ||
| Doug Ingle | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-25-2001 |
| In-a-gadda-da-vida is the correct spelling. I am/was the original lead singer and keyboardist for Iron Butterfly. Eric Brann was our lead guitarist (the poor kid died of an overdose at age 19), Ron Bushy was our drummer, we had a bass player named Lee Dorman. Any possibility of me getting some work in a local bar? Doug - Peace & Love http://www.ironbutterfly.com/ | ||
| Hugo | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-25-2001 |
| Yea, I have need of a band at my place on Thursday and Friday. I would say Saturday too but our Kareoke in Pajamas night has been to big a success. I have lodging out back and between acts my caged bear can entertain. | ||
| Drifter | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-25-2001 |
| I have purchased one of the Condos out back of Hugo's. I got a real buy from Electric Jim-1 G string and a warm six pack. If anyone would like to go time-share with me, e-mail: Gwash@bluenote.net | ||
| Kitty | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-25-2001 |
| I will time-share with you. | ||
| Drifter | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-25-2001 |
| That wasn't the real Drifter's post (two up) regarding the time-share, Electric Jim and the G-String. Imposter, imposter, imposter. Drifter | ||
| Torggy | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-25-2001 |
| Drifter Ya right. Looks like Kitty thinks you will look good in that G-sting. Films at 11:00 | ||
| Drifter | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-25-2001 |
| Ooops. Should have stated: Impostor, impostor, impostor. Either way, knock it off, Father Bob! Drifter | ||
| Drifter | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-25-2001 |
| A used G-String from Electric Jim??? I think I'll be sick, now... Hi Torggy. Drifter | ||
| happy | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-25-2001 |
| Torg, did ya show Andretti the way over to this forum? Skip, you do know all these funny characters, dontcha... who's Ivan? I'm not gonna get an answer, am i. Kitty, are much longer of schooling do you have? Hectic schedule? | ||
| happy | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-25-2001 |
| oops, typo, there. I mean "how" much... | ||
| Torggy | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-25-2001 |
| Happy: No I didn't. I thought she knew. | ||
| Skipper | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-25-2001 |
| I don't know any of these characters... if the Pack isn't playing, we usually have a spirited match of Yahtzee during Super Bowl sunday, Ivan I see Surdyk's Liquor has Rolling Rock for 6.87, stock up now!! | ||
| Webman | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-26-2001 |
| Webguy seems to be working too hard. Is anybody going to get Andretti here? | ||
| Torggy | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-26-2001 |
| Hell, I'd do it if I knew how. Wish I'd known the other night when I was yapping with her in Webguy's chat room. We are missing Nugget and CS also. Knowing this bunch you just have to leave some Rolling Rock unattended at the right place and they'll be around. I just don't know the place | ||
| TWO-Z | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-26-2001 |
| ELECTRIC JIM AND A G-STRING.. I'M GONNA PUCK.....HOW THE HECK'S IT GOING HAPPY???? YOU CAUSING TROUBLE AGAIN???? IT'S CRIBBIGE AND DARTS FOR ME SKIP... (YAHTZEE??????) TORGGY, WHAT'S A G-STING???? NICE TRY ON THE IMPOSTER DRIFTER.. | ||

| YOU CAN HAVE YOUR SYNCHRONIZED SWIMMING IVAN... MAKE SURE YOU STAY AWAKE.. | ||
| Drifter | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-26-2001 |
| While watching the Super Bowl, I will be playing several highly competitive games of "Connect Four" versus my six year old son and cheering against Art Moddell, Brian Billick, and Ray Lewis. Go Giants! | ||
| Ivan | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-26-2001 |
| Well I'm ready for game time. I picked up a twelver of the Rock at Surdyk's...thanks for tip Skip, a new broom, mop, and some Mr. Clean. I'm going to have the cleanest garage in the cul-de-sac. The 12 inch black and white will be tuned into the European synchronized swimming championships live from Dusseldorf. I am pumped, my friends. | ||
| Drifter | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-26-2001 |
| Found a good deal at our local jar store today -- a case of Grain Belt Premium bottles for $11.99. They called it the Super Bowl Weekend Special. I couldn't pass it up. However, a friend/neighbor stopped over tonight and there now is quite the dent in the case of said beer. Such is life. Drifter | ||
| Drifter | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-27-2001 |
| Thanks to Electric Jim, my case of Grain Belt shorties is gone. What will a guy do for a G String? Seriously, I do have one of the Hugo Condos under contract. All are welcome. | ||
| TWO-Z | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-27-2001 |
| DRIFTER, WHAT'S YOUR FEE FOR A NITE STAY???? THE RAVENS ARE GONNA KICK SOME GIANT BUTT... HA HA HA HA HA, GET IT... | ||
| B-loop | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-27-2001 |
| Been away for awhile. I stopped to help a poor damsel in distress the other night and almost sacrificed my life while doing it. Retrieving a damn bar of SOAP can be awfully dangerous, even for a petite guy like myself.. Ivan is right on track, as always..;the young ladies participating in this weekends sync. swimming competition are the same lassies that just completed the Jan. issue of Sports Illustrated...Trent Dilfer does suck.It can't be very comforting to him to know that even if you guide your team to the Suber Bowl Championship, you're ass will be out the door within a few weeks of the big game..Drifter, Ivan and Skippy[I think we gotta broken water ppippe]-I attempted forwarding the Presque Isle picture to the 3 stooges,so if it was successful, please forward it to the webman.. TOISIMEEKA [that is "thank you" in Finnish, learned from my old friend Chuckie McMain] Done rambling!! | ||
| B-loop | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-27-2001 |
| Super Bowl 35 final score prediction: not that anyone really cares............. Giants 17-- Ravens 10 GO AQUAMAIDS!!!!! | ||
| Drifter I | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-27-2001 |
| B-Loop: I got the photos and just forwarded them to Webman. Once again, the impostor is back. The last Drifter post (Electric Jim, G-String, Condos again) wasn't from me.... Giants - 13, Ravens - 7. | ||
| Skipper | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-27-2001 |
| I think B-Loop found his own Super Bowl special at the jar store,I can bet by Ivan's 8th beer on Sunday he will have dismissed Ted Nugent from the 8 track and will have put in Saturday Night Fever, he can dance like a son of a bitch in the garage!!!!! | ||
| Torggy | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-27-2001 |
| Hey B-Loop bet the Electric Fetus can fix that "water pipe" for ya. Damsel in distress and retrieving a bar of soap I don't think I really want to know any thing more. I just hope the game is a good one, I am tired of blow outs. You sure paint a scary picture Skip. Hey Drifter I got an old jock strap and a half rack of animal pop I'll trade ya for a sub-let on the condo. | ||
| TWO-Z | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-27-2001 |
| GIANTS 14 BALTIMORE 17!!!!!! MORE THAN I WANTED TO KNOW AS WELL THERE B-LOOP | ||
| B Loop | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-27-2001 |
| I have known Drifter for over 10 years and I can believe that he HAS purchased a Hugo Condo. He has always enjoyed the area and the fine people. I have never known him to lie. Go Drifter! | ||
| Ivan | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-27-2001 |
| The very best sport on TV is wrestling. It shows what a real man can do. The costumes are very colorful. The chairs are very real. The tables are very sturdy. It is just the very best sport. I love it. | ||
| Drifter | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-27-2001 |
| Listen up everyone!! There is an impostor who is trying to wreak havoc in this forum. Two previous posts had my moniker which I did not write. Ivan just informed me that he did not post the wrestling message above. I also suspect that last one isn't from the real b-loop. The impostor is most likely the same person who used the handle "Father Bob" in this forum last year. He apparently thinks it's ammusing to write a message and put someone else's name on it, and sit back and watch people get excited. He is an odd fellow of Scandanavian descent. Hopefully he will either move on, or better yet will think up a new moniker of his very own. Drifter | ||
| THE REAL B-LOOP! | Re: Super Bowl??? | 01-27-2001 |
| You are absolutely correct,Drifter. God knows I've known you for a lot longer than 10 years,so the "IMPOSTER" is just entering jibberish!!! I did NOT submit the last Hugo Condo entry.. Still trying to find that damn bar of soap.. SEE YA!!!! | ||
