| I'm glad the Winter Frolic is back. It used to be a really big deal. It fell on hard times and didn't occur at all for quite a while. There used to be a fishing tournament at Thomas Lake, a beauty pageant, all sorts of cool stuff. I even have a trophy in my garage from the Winter Frolic bowling tournament. My mom and I won the mother-son category (I think it was in 1968 or 1969). All a long time ago. I'm rambling again. Anyway, I'm glad the Winter Frolic is back. | ||

| I also recall the Winter Frolic. If I'm not mistaken, I believe Skipper made it to the final 3 of the 1979 Winter Frolic beauty pageant, ultimately losing to the Bio Lady. | ||

| I remember the 1979 Winter Frolic beauty pageant differently. I recall Joe Fabini edging out Wilbur Oling for the title with Mitch Ekstrom coming in 3rd. Mitch would have been a sure winner had he chose to reveal more cleavage. | ||
