Has anyone seen the nominations for all time hockey team? I think you could field a better team with the crowd at the Moose on Saturday night!

RL's 9.9 100 yard dash is a myth started by the former Business Law teacher himself, although I believe he may have been quick in his hayday. He credits his fleet of foot to his Indian blood...Always running from the evil white man.

As long as someone suggested an All Star Moose Hockey Team: Goalie=Gump Carlson(tightest man on earth). Defense=Joe Fabini & Charlie Oling(ice would be impassable). Forwards=Black Joe Sega & Ray Kortuem(by far the best hands). Center=Walt Aldinger.

Bravo on your last entry Ivan. I would substitute Debbie Smoger for basketball however. RL's car needs to be in for Cross Country "Bus". The thing had been totaled and the roof was caved in, yet here we were flying across the dirt roads in Brimson at 70 mph in a car full of smoke(from RL) on our way to regions in Hoyt Lakes. We had a blast!

I would also like to nominate Clyde Birkholtz in another category -- best PA guy. Some of his classic lines from basketball games in the mid 70s: "Basket by Big Al Cordts!!" "Basket by Jim 'McAdoo' MacDonald!!" "Basket by Vincent 'The Fonz' Sando!!" "Basket by Marty Eugene Boulanger!!" Outstanding...

The Woofman email icqRe: Hall of Fame11-22-1999
The previous writer alludes to "alot less funding". I think this is in error. Where did this information come from? Do not girls coaches receive the same pay as boys coaches? Does not the girls bus cost as much as the boys bus? Does not the girls officials cost as much as the boys officials? Do not girls uniforms cost as much as boys uniforms? This sexist crap is just as bad as the racist crap Jesse Jackson throws around.

Support This email icqRe: Hall of Fame11-23-1999
I agree with the previous writer. And as far as "alot less support", well who is to blame for this? Get all the girls in the school to attend the girls sports and there would be plenty of support to go around. Don't get me wrong, I think it's great that the opportunities are available for girls to participate in athletics, but this sort of whining makes me sick.
